Mallam Jibrin Abdu, who hails from Gezawa Local Government Area of ​​Kano State, was spotted wearing a hijab when he started his pilgrimage at the premises of the Pilgrims Board office in Kano.


Malam Jibrin has already done Safa and Marwar with Ibrahim, Arfa and others have been left behind, he said he will come back and add him.


"I have already started my hajj here, and I will be back since I have all the necessities of the hajj," said Mallam Jibrin Abdu.


Abdu further said that he had long dreamed of going on a pilgrimage, which prompted him to sell his farm to make his dream come true, but some corrupt leaders in the Alhajan Board of Kano State thwarted his dream.


About 700 pilgrims have reportedly not been able to perform the hajj in Kano State during this year's hajj. They were left stranded at the Alhazan camp in Kano State.
